Is your child ready to build forest fortresses and track animals in the winter snow? Do they want to learn why the leaves change color in the fall and watch the birds and flowers return in spring? Are you looking for a hands-on, immersive, outdoor education program for your child?
Retreat Farm and the Boys & Girls Club Brattleboro are delighted to join together again this year to deliver a licensed afterschool-care program that supports healthy social-emotional development, outdoor skills, and respect for the planet and each other.
The club is for children grades K-5 – no older than 11 – and runs Monday-Friday from 3:00pm-5:30pm. Transportation is available from Academy, Oak Grove, and Green Street schools. We are currently only offering a 5-day per week option.
The program is $500 per month ($125 per week) and accepts financial assistance from the Vermont Child Care Financial Assistance Program. Our goal is to ensure financial hardship is not an obstacle for any family in need.
