Zine making
Jul 1, 2, 3 & 5 (2-5pm)
Do you have great ideas to share with the world? How about art? Poetry? Come learn about making zines with social practice artist, Amber Paris. We will explore different types of zine creation, work on our own zines and create some ‘little free zine machine’ libraries to place at both the Boys and Girls Club and the Brooks Memorial Library so people can continue to exchange zines beyond this camp! Our week together will culminate with an Artful Streets table at the July 5th Gallery Walk where we can share our zines with the community and show how to make them. Free vouchers for photocopying zines will be provided by the Brooks Memorial Library.
